Rick is a Principal in the Toronto office of VLSS, where he practices exclusively in the areas of business valuations, forensic accounting investigations, and the quantification of economic damages. He has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation including breach of contract, patent infringement, and other intellectual property disputes, shareholder and family law disputes, fraud investigations and expropriations. Rick has been qualified as an expert by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, previously served as the elected Greater Toronto Area Regional Director for the CBV Institute, and was the 2026 recipient of the Top CBV Under 40 Award in memory of David Cornfield, CA, CBV.

Andy is a Principal in the Toronto office of VLSS. With a background in mergers and acquisitions, Andy has been qualified as an expert in the valuation of intellectual property and commercial businesses and the quantification of loss and accounting of profits in intellectual property and commercial litigation damages in the Federal Court and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He has also given evidence before the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC as well as in domestic arbitrations and mediations and before the Competition Tribunal of Canada. He has been recognized by Lexology Index (previously Who’s Who Legal) as a Global Leader – Experts in Financial Advisory and Valuation – Quantum of Damages.

Yvonne is a Principal in the Montréal office of VLSS, specializing in economic loss quantification, business valuation, and investigative accounting. Yvonne has extensive experience assessing damages arising from professional negligence, breach of contract, construction disputes, post-acquisition disputes, and physical damage claims. She has prepared expert reports and provided expert testimony in various litigation matters and has been recognized by the Québec Superior Court as an expert in valuation and damage quantification.

Her insurance practice spans both first-party and third-party insurance coverage matters, including business interruption losses (property and cyber), transactional liability, product liability, professional liability, crime and fidelity, and civil liability.

Yvonne has prepared and delivered seminars to various audiences dealing with business valuations, fraud investigations, lost profits and business interruption insurance.
